The Blue Ribbon Kennel Program is a premium puppy program designed to provide the highest quality puppies to prospective animal owners and be assured that the puppies they purchase are under the proper care of the most responsible pet breeders in Missouri.

Blue Ribbon Kennels are held to higher standards, must pass a Blue Ribbon Kennel inspection, and demonstrate a commitment to providing and improving their animal care knowledge through continuing education workshops available throughout Missouri.

Blue Ribbon Kennels are committed to providing the highest quality puppies and have been certified by the Missouri Department of Agriculture's Animal Care Facilities Act (ACFA) program.

What Makes a Blue Ribbon Kennel Different?

Animal Care Facility Act

Established in 1992, Animal Care Facilities Act (ACFA) assures that licensed facilities meet established standards of care for cats and dogs. Under ACFA, breeders and facilities entering dogs and cats into commerce on a regular basis are required to hold a professional license, consent to inspections, and comply with requirements of care outlined in the act. Currently, ACFA has over 3,000 licensed faciliteis within Missouri.
